Gross Disrespect

Profanity or inappropriate gestures towards a teacher and/or student.

Language, behavior, or disrespect which demeans, insults, incites, or is inflammatory to others based on ethnic, cultural, gender, or individual differences.

 1st Referral - Overnight Suspension

2nd Referral-1 day of OSS

3rd Referral-2 days of OSS

Additional consequences will be considered for additional referrals.

Theft

Intentionally taking personal property from a student and/or teacher.

1st Referal- Parent contact and OSS

2nd Referral-1 day of OSS

3rd Referral-OSS

Additional consequences will be considered for additional referrals.

Restitution for all occurences

Harrassment/Bullying/Intimidation/Threat (non-terroristic)

If the investigation confirms a case of bullying or harassment, a formal referral will follow and merit the following consequences.

1st Referral-1 day OSS

2nd Referral-Possible 3 OSS

3rd Referral-OSS

Additional consequences will be considered for additional referrals.

4th Incident-3 days bus suspension

Additional consequences based on the misconduct may apply.

All severe offenses may be handled differently.

Level IV Offenses: Misconduct which leads to Administrative Hearing

ZERO TOLERANCE

Conduct or behavior which poses a direct or serious threat to the safety of onself or others in the school.

ALL OF THE BELOW OFFENSES REQUIRE AN ADMINISTRATIVE HEARING:

  • Possession or use in school of dangerous weapons. No toy guns are allowed at school or on the bus.
  • Sale or distribution of drugs or alcohol.
  • Possession or use of alcohol or drugs (controlled or uncontrolled).
  • Threatening, intimidating, or act of physical abuse by a student to a staff member.
  • False fire alarm or bomb threat.
